Originally designed by Antonio Citterio in 1997, the Carlotta outdoor armchair by Flexform distils timeless form into a sculptural profile reimagined for open-air living. A slender stainless-steel frame—epoxy powder-coated in a selection of refined tones—balances strength with visual lightness, ideal for coastal terraces or garden lounges.

The seat and backrest are handwoven in polypropylene fibre, offering tactile contrast and weather-resistant performance. Available in a curated palette of elegant shades, Carlotta blends heritage design with contemporary functionality. Its graceful silhouette and artisanal detailing reflect Flexform’s enduring commitment to understated outdoor craftsmanship and refined materiality.

MATERIALS & DETAILS

The structure is crafted from 316 stainless steel and comes with multiple finish options: electropolished, epoxy-powder coated in white 100, wine red 405, khaki green 705, or burnished, as well as an embossed lacquered finish in shades like white 300, sand 310, brick 320, and sage green 330. The seat and backrest are also made of 316 stainless steel and feature woven polypropylene cord available in a variety of colours, such as sand 8001 and anthracite 8005, or in a matt finish with options like natural 8102 and ice 8103. The feet are designed to rest on thermoplastic tips for longevity, and an optional waterproof cover is also available.
