A reflective surface with concealed intent, the Pop Mirror TV by Fiam Italia reimagines media integration through sculptural glass. Designed by Marcel Wanders, its form blurs technology and architecture—a semi-reflective panel masking the TV until activated, creating a seamless transition between stillness and motion.

Framed in 6mm high-temperature fused glass with a 5mm semi-reflective bronze or smoked central mirror, the piece mounts cleanly to the wall with a bronze-painted rear frame. Made in Italy, Pop merges utility and illusion—transforming the television into a monolithic glass installation that shifts between visual silence and cinematic presence.

MATERIALS & DETAILS

Mirror with a built-in frame designed to accommodate a TV set. The central mirror is made from 5mm-thick semi-reflective black back-painted glass. The frame consists of four fused and back-silvered glass elements, available in 6mm-thick smoked or bronze glass. The rear frame is crafted from matte black lacquered metal.

Additional Information

The television is not supplied. A flat-screen TV with rear VESA connections and a front frame without projections is essential. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure compatibility between their TV and the mirror attachment system. Nuts, bolts, and hardware for attaching the TV to the mirror frame are not included.

Heat forging may result in slight irregularities near the decorative elements, which are distinguishing features of the high-temperature fusion process and a testament to the craftsmanship involved.
