Its cowhide-upholstered base rests on slender metal feet, creating a visual offset between mass and elevation while defining the room’s spatial axis.

Seat and back cushions are filled with goose down for resilient comfort, while armrests—wrapped in hide leather—fold seamlessly into the structural profile. Stitch detailing along the upholstery underscores Flexform’s artisanal precision. Available in a curated range of fabrics, leathers, and finishes, Ambroeus reflects composure through layered material restraint.

MATERIALS & DETAILS

This sofa features a metal frame clad in cowhide, available in a selection of colours: grey (5003), dark brown (5004), extra dark brown (5013), black (5005), olive (5006), Russian red (5008), sand (5001), and tobacco (5015). The frame is supported by anthracite-coloured elastic webbing for added durability. The metal backrest and armrest are padded with moulded polyurethane and covered in sterilised goose down (Assopiuma Gold Label certified), ensuring comfort and luxury. The armrest is upholstered in hand-stitched leather, matching the cowhide frame, and available in finishes such as satin, chrome, burnished, black chrome, or glossy anthracite.

The seat and three backrest cushions are filled with sterilised goose down, featuring inserts of crushproof variable-density material for lasting resilience. Metal feet, in finishes matching the armrest, rest on thermoplastic tips to protect floors. Upholstery is removable and available in fabric or leather, with additional cushions available upon request for an upcharge.
