Defined by fluid geometry and sculptural restraint, Flexform’s Eri armchair introduces quiet dynamism to contemporary interiors. Designed by Fumie Shibata, its softly curved shell embraces the body in a continuous line—resting atop a metal swivel base that enhances movement while preserving composure.

Upholstered in Flexform’s curated selection of fabrics and leathers, Eri features deeply padded seat and back cushions filled with goose down for enveloping comfort. The base is available in a range of finishes, reinforcing the chair’s refined material character. A matching footstool completes the composition—extending both form and tactile experience with architectural clarity.

MATERIALS & DETAILS

The armchair shell is made from rigid polyurethane laminated to polyurethane foam, upholstered in either leather or fabric. The upholstery is available in the following combinations for the inside and outside: entirely in leather (with all leathers in the collection), entirely in fabric, or fabric inside and leather outside (with all leathers in the collection).

The seat cushion is filled with sterilised goose down (Assopiuma certified, Gold label), with an insert in crushproof, variable-density material, covered with a protective laminated fabric for durability and comfort.

The backrest cushions are filled with sterilised goose down (Assopiuma certified, Gold label) and are available upon request for an additional cost.

The swivel armchair base is metal, available in finishes including satin, chrome, black chrome, burnished, glossy anthracite, and matt titanium 710. The central column is clad in the same leather or fabric used to upholster the outside shell for a cohesive design. The armchair rests on feet made from thermoplastic material for added stability and floor protection.

The upholstery is non-removable, available in both fabric and leather versions for easy maintenance and versatility.
