Gallotti&Radice: Sculptural Clarity in Italian Lighting and Furniture
Gallotti&Radice is a sculptural voice in contemporary interiors. This family-run Italian atelier composes with glass, light, marble, and metal—shaping objects that transform space through material presence and emotional restraint. Since 1955, its work has defined a quiet yet powerful language of form: architectural, enduring, and unmistakably Italian.
Every piece is handcrafted in Cermenate, in the Lombardy region—an area known for its deep-rooted furniture-making tradition. Here, traditional techniques meet radical material refinement, resulting in a design discipline that privileges structure over surface and clarity over excess.

A Legacy in Glass, Reimagined for Architecture
Founded by Pierangelo Gallotti and Luigi Radice, the atelier began as a decorative glass studio producing mirrors, lighting, and furnishings entirely by hand. By the early 1970s, Gallotti&Radice had become a pioneer of architectural glass in Italian design—placing it at the structural core of furniture rather than treating it as an ornamental accent.
Today, the atelier’s mastery spans curved, bevelled, etched and sandblasted glass, developed entirely in-house. The result is a material vocabulary that allows glass to define space—still, reflective, and quietly monumental.
Material Discipline and Emotional Architecture
Gallotti&Radice balances two tempos: one of technical precision, the other of human rhythm. Sophisticated tools—water-jet cutters, mirrored composites, industrial grinders—enable architectural clarity. Yet every piece is refined by hand, shaped by artisans who’ve worked within the atelier for decades.
This interplay creates a collection defined by sculptural poise and tactile restraint. From the architectural purity of the Prism table to the organic silhouette of the Audrey sofa, each piece is composed to evolve with its setting—deepening in character over time.

The Bolle Collection: A Study in Sculptural Light
Designed by Massimo Castagna, the Bolle chandelier has become a contemporary icon. Each composition suspends hand-blown glass spheres in airy, asymmetrical balance—diffusing light with the softness of breath.
More than illumination, Bolle acts as a spatial intervention: shaping thresholds, slowing movement, and inviting calm. Whether cascading through a stairwell void or marking the centre of a dining space, it transforms volume into atmosphere.

Artisan-Made in Italy, Rooted in Brianza
Every Gallotti&Radice piece is made in Italy, crafted within the atelier’s Cermenate workshop using materials and expertise sourced almost entirely from the surrounding region. Brianza, long regarded as the cradle of Italian furniture-making, continues to support the atelier’s material fluency—supplying not only raw resources but generational knowledge and craftsmanship that shape each piece.
Two distinct production lines exist in harmony: a highly technical line for modular forms, and a more expressive, handcrafted process for bespoke creations. This duality allows Gallotti&Radice to maintain its architectural rigour while offering remarkable material depth and flexibility.
Collaboration as Culture
Long-term collaboration is central to Gallotti&Radice’s process. The atelier works closely with designers such as Massimo Castagna, Carlo Colombo, Bartoli Design, Federica Biasi, and Gabriele & Oscar Buratti—relationships built not on licensing, but on shared values and mutual craft.
Designers are encouraged to begin without boundaries—to draw freely, to dream boldly. Once the concept takes shape, Gallotti&Radice’s master artisans and engineers refine it into reality. It’s a dialogue between imagination and execution, where pure ideas are translated into physically intelligent forms.
The result is a portfolio that feels consistent and culturally resonant—objects shaped with discipline, poetry, and intent.

A Global Signature of Italian Craft
Gallotti&Radice’s work appears in some of the most refined interiors in the world: private residences, gallery-like retail spaces, cultural institutions, and luxury hospitality projects. Each piece, no matter the setting, carries the intimacy of the workshop and the clarity of its design origin.
Whether anchoring a staircase with sculptural light, introducing rhythm to a minimalist interior, or vanishing into its own reflection, Gallotti&Radice creates more than functional objects.
It composes emotional architecture.
