Flexform furniture stands apart through its rare combination of genuine comfort and quietly considered design. A long-standing creative partnership with Antonio Citterio, now spanning more than forty years, has given the collection a coherent identity: generous proportions, restrained detailing, and comfort that feels integral to the design rather than layered on top.
Every piece of Flexform furniture is designed and made in Meda, a town in northern Italy’s Brianza district — the heartland of Italian furniture craftsmanship. From the initial design concept through to upholstery and finishing, the entire process takes place at a single production facility in Italy.
Yes. Flexform furniture is designed with a level of comfort and material quality that’s difficult to fully appreciate from photography alone. Flexform’s creative output has been shaped most significantly by its relationship with Antonio Citterio, whose collaboration with the company stretches back more than four decades. More recently, Flexform has expanded its creative partnerships to include leading international designers such as Fumie Shibata and Christophe Pillet, bringing fresh perspectives while maintaining the restrained, considered aesthetic that defines the collection.
