A vibrant diffusion of light animates Contardi’s Calypso outdoor pendant light, where Art Deco elegance meets nautical resilience with architectural precision. Designed by Servomuto, the fireproof and waterproof fabric shade, suspended by green marine rope cables and framed in satin brass, casts atmospheric illumination shaped for curated outdoor environments.

Calypso balances material innovation with refined functionality. A transparent glass cylinder encloses the light source, achieving an IP65 rating for durable outdoor performance, and reaffirming Contardi’s mastery of bespoke Italian lighting solutions shaped by cultural nuance and technical sophistication.

MATERIALS & DETAILS

Waterproof and fireproof fabrics are suitable to withstand atmospheric agents at particularly high or low temperatures while maintaining the colours and the craftsmanship quality of the product. The electric cables pass through the green coloured marine rope and the supporting frame, which is made of a smoothed solid piece in satin brass finish. The light source is housed inside a glass cylinder that is sealed to guarantee the IP65 degree of protection. The diffuser is in transparent glass.

This product is made to order in the Contardi factory in Italy especially for you, with a production time of 2 - 4 weeks, therefore please expect delivery within 2 - 4 weeks from the date of order.

Standard Delivery (courier)

Standard Delivery is a courier delivery service suitable for smaller furniture items, and most lighting & accessory items. Once the items you've ordered are ready for dispatch from our warehouse, your order will be dispatched on a next day service.

This service does not include delivery into the property, assembly or unpacking. For larger items the driver may require assistance when unloading.

Platinum Delivery (white glove)

The delivery team will deliver your items to your room of choice and remove all the packaging for you. If required, all items will be assembled by the delivery team. Once the items have been received into our warehouse and are ready for delivery, our delivery team will be in touch to arrange delivery with you.

On-site installation is regrettably not available for lighting products or wall mounted goods such as, but not limited to shelving, mirrors, and pictures.

Once your order has arrived in our warehouse, and the item(s) have been quality checked, we will contact you to let you know your order is ready for collection. Please remember to bring proof of purchase with you, such as your order confirmation email.
