Designed by Cini Boeri and Tomu Katayanagi, its silhouette is cut from a single 12mm-thick sheet, then shaped through high-temperature bending into a fluid, cantilevered form. The result is a monolithic presence that vanishes into light—appearing weightless, yet unmistakably architectural.
Originally introduced at Salone del Mobile in 1987, Ghost remains an icon of technical innovation and sculptural restraint. Crafted in Italy, it exemplifies Fiam Italia’s mastery in transforming industrial glass into expressive, inhabitable geometry.
