Designed by Fumie Shibata for Flexform, the Eri armchair explores the tension between softness and structure. Its fluid silhouette curves gently around the body, with tailored upholstery that creates an almost seamless envelope of comfort. Resting on hand-turned solid wood legs, the form feels grounded yet quietly expressive—an elegant interplay of Japanese minimalism and Italian craft.

The seat and back cushions are filled with goose down, delivering enveloping comfort without excess. Upholstered in a curated selection of leathers or fabrics, Eri brings sculptural refinement to reading corners, spa-like ensuites, or private dressing rooms—earning Wallpaper*’s Best Comfort Zone award for its intelligent, human-centred design.

MATERIALS & DETAILS

This armchair features a rigid polyurethane shell laminated to polyurethane foam, available in leather or fabric upholstery. Upholstery combinations include full leather, full fabric, or fabric inside with leather outside, with all leathers from the collection available. The seat cushion is filled with sterilised goose down (Assopiuma Gold Label certified) with a crushproof, variable-density insert encased in protective laminated fabric. Optional backrest cushions in sterilised goose down are available upon request at an additional cost.

The base is crafted from turned solid Canaletto walnut, ash, or oak in various finishes, supported by a black-painted metal frame. The feet are made from die-cast zama, available in satin, chrome, black chrome, burnished, glossy anthracite, or matt titanium 710 finishes, resting on thermoplastic tips for stability. Upholstery is not removable.

This product is made to order in the Flexform factory in Italy especially for you, with a production time of 6 - 8 weeks, therefore please expect delivery within 8 - 10 weeks from the date of order.

These lead times are estimates, for your guidance and can be subject to change. A more accurate delivery estimate will be supplied to you by email within 14 days of your order being processed.

Delivery options: United Kingdom

Standard Delivery (courier)

Standard Delivery is a courier delivery service suitable for smaller furniture items, and most lighting & accessory items. Once the items you've ordered are ready for dispatch from our warehouse, your order will be dispatched on a next day service.

This service does not include delivery into the property, assembly or unpacking. For larger items the driver may require assistance when unloading.

Platinum Delivery (white glove)

The delivery team will deliver your items to your room of choice and remove all the packaging for you. If required, all items will be assembled by the delivery team. Once the items have been received into our warehouse and are ready for delivery, our delivery team will be in touch to arrange delivery with you.

On-site installation is regrettably not available for lighting products or wall mounted goods such as, but not limited to shelving, mirrors, and pictures.

Click & Collect

Once your order has arrived in our warehouse, and the item(s) have been quality checked, we will contact you to let you know your order is ready for collection. Please remember to bring proof of purchase with you, such as your order confirmation email.
