A study in restrained elegance, the Ginger sofa by Flexform, originally designed by Antonio Citterio in 1984, returns as a re-edited expression of timeless Italian design. Its architectural tubular metal frame supports deep seat and backrest cushions generously filled for comfort, while maintaining a crisp, minimal silhouette suited to contemporary interiors.

Signature details—such as pivoting cowhide-clad side tables integrated into the armrests and a leather-wrapped cylindrical support bar—reflect Flexform’s commitment to functional refinement and artisanal craftsmanship. MATERIALS & DETAILS

The structure is made from tubular metal, available in chrome or burnished finish, providing a sleek and modern aesthetic. A wood bar is clad in leather from the collection, enhancing the tactile appeal. Springs are made from piano wire with a chrome finish for durability and support.

The seat is made of metal, with a variable density polyurethane foam insert, padded with polyester fiber, and covered with protective laminated fabric for added resilience and comfort.

The backrest cushion is filled with sterilized goose down (Assopiuma certified, Gold label), offering luxurious support and comfort.

The pivoting side table is attached to the sofa, made from wood clad in leather that matches the backrest bar (all the leathers in the collection). The table’s structure is made from metal painted black, and the sofa features a pivoting side table on both sides for added functionality.

The feet rest on tips made from thermoplastic material to protect the floor and ensure stability.

The upholstery is completely removable, available in fabric or leather, offering easy maintenance and a refined finish.

This product is made to order in the Flexform factory in Italy especially for you, with a production time of 6 - 8 weeks, therefore please expect delivery within 8 - 10 weeks from the date of order.

Delivery options: United Kingdom

Standard Delivery (courier)

Standard Delivery is a courier delivery service suitable for smaller furniture items, and most lighting & accessory items. Once the items you've ordered are ready for dispatch from our warehouse, your order will be dispatched on a next day service.

This service does not include delivery into the property, assembly or unpacking. For larger items the driver may require assistance when unloading.

Platinum Delivery (white glove)

The delivery team will deliver your items to your room of choice and remove all the packaging for you. If required, all items will be assembled by the delivery team. Once the items have been received into our warehouse and are ready for delivery, our delivery team will be in touch to arrange delivery with you.

On-site installation is regrettably not available for lighting products or wall mounted goods such as, but not limited to shelving, mirrors, and pictures.

Click & Collect

Once your order has arrived in our warehouse, and the item(s) have been quality checked, we will contact you to let you know your order is ready for collection. Please remember to bring proof of purchase with you, such as your order confirmation email.
