Designed by Antonio Citterio, its low, architectural profile is softened by a subtly quilted seat—an elegant detail that reflects the brand’s mastery of precision upholstery and refined textile work.
Optional back cushions introduce additional depth and comfort, while allowing for curated combinations of fabrics or leathers. Constructed with Flexform’s signature metal frame and generously padded seat, the Lucien is equally suited to formal living rooms or spacious open-plan interiors, offering a grounded, sculptural presence without visual excess.

The structure is made from solid wood, padded with polyurethane foam and covered in a protective laminated fabric, resting on thermoplastic tips for stability. The seat cushion combines variable-density polyurethane foam with polyester fibre, while the armrest cushion is similarly composed. Optional sterilised goose down cushions, certified with the Gold Label by Assopiuma, are also available. The upholstery can be removed in both fabric and leather versions, with fabric upholstery offering piping in grosgrain in various colours, and leather upholstery featuring matching leather piping.
