Designed by Antonio Citterio, its rigorous silhouette is softened by cylindrical goose-down-filled armrests, while two-hole tufting replaces traditional buttons for a graphic, modern finish—particularly striking in saddle-stitched leather.

Behind the structured backrest, a concealed metal shelf extends to reveal a discreet single bed, transforming the Magister from sculptural seating into an elegant sleeping solution. Meticulously crafted and hand-upholstered, it remains a defining piece for refined residential interiors and executive spaces alike—where visual clarity meets convertible functionality without aesthetic compromise.

MATERIALS & DETAILS

This sofa features a solid wood and metal structure with polyurethane foam padding, wrapped in a protective laminated fabric for durability. The backrest includes a retractable satin-finish metal shelf, transforming the sofa into a convenient daybed when extended.

The seat and backrest cushions are crafted with polyurethane foam and Dacron for comfort, while the armrests are filled with sterilised goose down (Assopiuma Gold Label certified) for added luxury. The satin-finish metal feet rest on thermoplastic pads to protect flooring.

Upholstery is available in fabric or leather. In the leather version, the seat and backrest cushions are elegantly quilted, adding a sophisticated touch to the design.
