A sequence of three rotating panels gives the Borealis Screen by Giorgetti a controlled presence within architect-designed bedrooms and dressing areas. Its articulated silhouette creates shifting planes of transparency, with two-tone leather bands generating a subtle weave that modulates visual weight and defines smaller spatial thresholds.

Designed by Roberto Lazzeroni, the screen uses an aluminium frame wrapped in tensioned leather bands secured with hand-sewn stitches. The alternating tones read with crisp precision, while the rotating doors allow calibrated partitioning in client suites and dressing zones, reinforcing its role as a designer leather screen.

MATERIALS & DETAILS

The frame is in painted aluminium with a pewter finish.

The panels are made from two-colour leather bands, folded into loops and hand-sewn: Pelle Plus 9322 leather on one side, Anilina Nubuck 9262 leather on the other and on the vertical bands.

The structure consists of three rotating doors, each equipped with locking mechanisms to prevent full closure or opening, ensuring stability.
