With monolithic presence and painterly force, the Scirocco sideboard by Draga & Aurel distills Giorgetti’s cabinet-making legacy into a sculptural form. Its anthracite grey ash frame establishes a grounded architectural volume, while the façade disrupts uniformity—offering a visual rhythm that reads more as artwork than storage.
Each drawer front is hand-finished in resin over birch plywood, a process that renders every piece uniquely layered in pigment, depth, and light. Inspired by the namesake Mediterranean wind, Scirocco evokes movement through surface tension and chromatic warmth. Made in Italy, this piece embodies Giorgetti’s fusion of material artistry and expressive functionality.

The sideboard structure is made from ash wood, finished in anthracite grey (fin.93), with solid wood edges for a sophisticated, natural aesthetic.
The drawers feature decorative birch plywood doors, carefully crafted to evoke the feeling of movement, as if shaped by the wind. Each door and cupboard is manually finished by Draga & Aurel using epoxy resin, making every piece unique.
The middle shelf is made of fixed smoked glass, adding elegance to the design, while LED lighting is integrated inside each drawer for functional and ambient illumination.
The feet are made from pewter-painted metal, completing the piece with a modern, industrial touch.
