Defined by its sculptural silhouette and enveloping contours, the Tie XL Bergère armchair by Giorgetti reimagines classic comfort through architectural form. Designed by M2Atelier, the design’s fluid geometry culminates in a distinctive slit along the backrest—an elegant incision that lightens its visual mass and invites spatial dialogue.

Handcrafted in Italy, the structure is formed from Polimex®, a composite material allowing complex yet lightweight construction. Layered polyurethane padding ensures generous support, while the jacquard chenille upholstery, woven with fine canneté texture, produces shifting plays of light and shadow. A designer armchair that merges precision engineering with tactile warmth.

The frame is made from a high-performance composite material, allowing for complex structural shapes while remaining lightweight. Padding is in polyurethane foam covered with fibre.

The upholstery is in a jacquard chenille fabric with a canneté effect, featuring high-quality yarns for a soft surface and intricate texture. Fine stripes create a light and shadow effect. Includes a matching leather backrest insert with piping running along the frame.

The cover is removable, excluding the leather backrest insert.

The headrest is oval-shaped and equipped with a counterweight.

The base is in anthracite grey ash wood.
