Composed with architectural balance and artisanal contrast, the Sway modular outdoor sofa by Molteni&C introduces sculptural rhythm to open-air living. A solid teak platform anchors the form, while a curved aluminium backrest—hand-woven in ecru polypropylene rope—adds tactility and tension to the composition.
Engineered for modular adaptability, each unit integrates a C-shaped aluminium side element, offering spatial cohesion and functional continuity. Slender feet mirror the sweep of the backrest, while wide rear stabilisers provide structural integrity. This teak and rope outdoor seating system brings refined construction and sculptural modularity to terraces, courtyards, and architect-designed garden lounges.

Upholstery available in select fabric categories. Seat cushions in shaped polyurethane of varied densities, wrapped in water-repellent, 100% recyclable polyester fibre. Back cushions filled with polyester fibre and encased in recyclable polyester covers.
Structure base in solid teak with a natural finish and plastic ferrules. Backrests in painted aluminium with woven detailing in 100% polypropylene.
Feet crafted from painted aluminium for durability and outdoor resilience.
Cushions includes 1 back cushion (90×50 cm), 1 armrest cushion (60×40 cm), and 1 lumbar cushion (60×40 cm). Additional cushions available upon request.
