Elevated on a solid teak platform, the Sway modular outdoor sofa by Molteni&C introduces a sculptural interplay of material and form. Designed by Yabu Pushelberg, its curved aluminium backrest—woven in ecru polypropylene rope—wraps around ergonomically contoured cushions, blending architectural precision with tactile rhythm.
Each module integrates a C-shaped side element in powder-coated aluminium, offering compositional continuity and structural clarity. Slim-profile feet mirror the curvature of the frame, while broader rear supports provide grounding stability. This teak and rope modular seating system anchors contemporary terraces, poolside lounges, or garden salons—where material refinement and outdoor resilience meet in sculpted harmony.

Upholstery available in select fabric categories. Seat cushions in shaped polyurethane of varied densities, wrapped in water-repellent, 100% recyclable polyester fibre. Back cushions filled with polyester fibre and encased in recyclable polyester covers.
Structure solid teak base with a natural finish and plastic ferrules. Backrests in painted aluminium with weaving in 100% polypropylene for durability and ease of care.
Feet painted aluminium, designed for strength and outdoor performance.
Cushions includes 3 back cushions (70×50 cm), 2 armrest cushions (60×40 cm), and 3 lumbar cushions (60×40 cm). Additional cushions available upon request.
