Defined by its rhythmic modularity, the Porada Abacus sofa brings sculptural clarity to expansive interiors. Its low, architectural silhouette is designed to anchor gallery-style lounges and open-plan living rooms, with deep cushions arranged in a fluid yet structured composition. Gentle radius corners and recessed walnut feet introduce a softened geometry that complements contemporary spatial flow.
Each module is constructed with an internal beech and poplar frame, reinforced by elastic webbing and layered foam for tailored support. Upholstered in custom fabric or leather options, the Abacus reflects Porada’s artisanal lineage—crafted in Brianza and conceived by G. & O. Buratti for refined, reconfigurable seating landscapes.

This two-seater sofa features a solid canaletta walnut frame with end-feet in either black chromed or brushed brass. The fabric cover is removable, while the leather option is fixed. Seats are supported by a belted metal frame and covered in technical velvet. Cushions are filled with high-resilient, crush-proof polyurethane foam of varying densities and topped with Memory Foam. The arm and back frames are constructed from solid fir wood and birch plywood, upholstered in crush-proof foam and finished in white padding paired with cotton and velveteen fabric. For added comfort, the backrest cushions are filled with canalised goose feather, certified by Assopiuma’s Golden label, and feature a crush-proof polyurethane insert encased in feather-proof cotton fabric.
