Designed as a visual monolith within the room, the Ala cabinet by Rimadesio articulates storage as architectural presence. Its clean-lined silhouette and seamless reflective glass surfaces create a mirrored plane that enhances spatial rhythm—ideal for gallery-inspired living rooms or transitional spaces defined by light, proportion, and quiet symmetry.

The cabinet features a bronzo aluminium frame, paired with hinged doors in reflective or lacquered glass, free from visible screws or joins. Inside, solid walnut drawers are crafted with dovetail joinery and lined in eco-leather. Made in Giussano, Italy, Ala exemplifies Rimadesio’s sustainable, precision-built approach to integrated furniture systems.

MATERIALS & DETAILS

Top crafted in 15 Noce with an external bronze matte lacquered tempered glass surface, offering a refined and sophisticated look. The lacquered wooden back panel is finished in 14 Brown with a bronze matte lacquered finish for a cohesive aesthetic. The door, constructed with an extruded aluminium structure, includes tempered single glass and a secure locking device. The frame is made from lacquered metal in 303 Bronzo, complementing the design. The wooden floor base and drawer are also finished in 15 Noce, with the drawer featuring a synthetic leather covering, partially extractable runners, and a soft-closing mechanism. The maximum allowed weight per drawer is 5 kg.

This product is made to order in the Rimadesio factory in Italy especially for you, with a production time of 8 - 10 weeks, therefore please expect delivery within 10 - 12 weeks from the date of order.

Delivery options: United Kingdom

Standard Delivery (courier)

Standard Delivery is a courier delivery service suitable for smaller furniture items, and most lighting & accessory items. Once the items you've ordered are ready for dispatch from our warehouse, your order will be dispatched on a next day service.

This service does not include delivery into the property, assembly or unpacking. For larger items the driver may require assistance when unloading.

Platinum Delivery (white glove)

The delivery team will deliver your items to your room of choice and remove all the packaging for you. If required, all items will be assembled by the delivery team. Once the items have been received into our warehouse and are ready for delivery, our delivery team will be in touch to arrange delivery with you.

On-site installation is regrettably not available for lighting products or wall mounted goods such as, but not limited to shelving, mirrors, and pictures.

Click & Collect

Once your order has arrived in our warehouse, and the item(s) have been quality checked, we will contact you to let you know your order is ready for collection. Please remember to bring proof of purchase with you, such as your order confirmation email.
