With its live edges and monumental scale, the Kauri Ciak dining table by Riva1920 reads like a preserved cross-section of deep time. The top—crafted from 50,000-year-old reclaimed Kauri wood—rests above a sculptural iron base whose intersecting planes nod to cinematic form, offering both contrast and structural tension.

Hand-finished in Italy with natural oils that preserve the grain’s ancient markings, the solid wood surface embodies Riva1920’s reverence for origin and material truth. The architectural base, available in Irondust or custom lacquer, reinforces the table’s dual identity: part artefact, part contemporary design gesture.

These tables are available in sizes ranging from 240 cm to 400 cm.

MATERIALS & DETAILS

The tabletop is crafted from solid Kauri wood and paired with a base made of calendered iron, available in a choice of finishes. Each tabletop is unique, allowing you to select the specific slab of Kauri wood to be used in production, with the option to include transparent resin.

This product is made to order in the Riva1920 factory in Italy especially for you, with a production time of 6 - 8 weeks, therefore please expect delivery within 8 - 10 weeks from the date of order.

Delivery options: United Kingdom

Standard Delivery (courier)

Standard Delivery is a courier delivery service suitable for smaller furniture items, and most lighting & accessory items. Once the items you've ordered are ready for dispatch from our warehouse, your order will be dispatched on a next day service.

This service does not include delivery into the property, assembly or unpacking. For larger items the driver may require assistance when unloading.

Platinum Delivery (white glove)

The delivery team will deliver your items to your room of choice and remove all the packaging for you. If required, all items will be assembled by the delivery team. Once the items have been received into our warehouse and are ready for delivery, our delivery team will be in touch to arrange delivery with you.

On-site installation is regrettably not available for lighting products or wall mounted goods such as, but not limited to shelving, mirrors, and pictures.

Once your order has arrived in our warehouse, and the item(s) have been quality checked, we will contact you to let you know your order is ready for collection. Please remember to bring proof of purchase with you, such as your order confirmation email.
