A sculptural tribute to Poltrona Frau’s design heritage, the Brera bench—reissued for the brand’s 90th anniversary—celebrates Guglielmo Ulrich’s 1949 original through a rich gradient of artisanal detail. The seat is woven from Pelle Frau® Colorsphere® SC 66 India leather, with tonal shifts from Cocciopesto to Avorio forming a graphic, uninterrupted surface that reads like a textile fresco.
Resting on a tapered ash wood frame in wengé or moka stain, this designer leather bench blends architectural discipline with decorative fluency. Finished with a discreet commemorative plaque, it marks a moment in the brand’s legacy—an exclusive edition crafted for collectors, connoisseurs, and refined architectural spaces.

Structure made from solid ash wood, available in moka stain (61) or wenge stain (32). The seat base is constructed from MDF and finished with black canvas on the underside. Tapered supports are also in solid ash, fitted with felt pads to protect the floor.
Padding consists of constant-density polyurethane foam, layered with a foam sheet and topped with black velvet for added softness and comfort.
Upholstery achieved through a refined weave of multicoloured Pelle Frau® ColorSphere® (SC) leather straps, arranged in a predefined chromatic sequence. The weft bands (parallel to the bench’s length) are in SC 66 India, while the warp alternates between SC 176 Darsena, SC 233 Bardiglio, SC 146 Coccio Pesto, SC 01 Avorio, and SC 92 Garnet. Upholstery features tone-on-tone stitching and clean-cut edges in matching colours. Upholstery is fixed and not removable.
Aesthetic details include a commemorative gunmetal-finished metal plaque marking the 90th anniversary, discreetly placed on the inner side of the leg.
