Gallotti&Radice is distinguished by the way it treats glass as a defining material rather than a decorative detail. Founded in 1955, the company was among the first in Italy to explore the structural and aesthetic possibilities of crystal in furniture, and that pioneering approach still gives the collection its recognisable character. Across furniture and lighting, glass is paired with metal, timber, stone and upholstery in a way that feels precise, restrained and quietly expressive — a hallmark of luxury Italian furniture design.
Gallotti&Radice designs and produces entirely in Italy. The company is based in Cermenate, in Lombardy, with close ties to the Brianza furniture district and a supply chain that is predominantly local. That continuity supports the consistency in finish, material handling and workmanship for which the collection is known.
Yes. For this collection in particular, seeing the work in person makes a real difference. Scale, reflectivity, the way glass reads alongside upholstery or stone — these qualities are difficult to convey through photography. Gallotti&Radice works with designers from a range of backgrounds, united by a shared understanding of the brand’s material language. Current and recent collaborators include Monica Armani, Massimo Castagna, Carlo Colombo, Luca Nichetto, Gabriele & Oscar Buratti, Pinuccio Borgonovo and Ricardo Bello Dias. That breadth of collaboration keeps the collection fresh while the consistent use of glass, crystal and refined material pairings holds everything together.
