Defined by formal clarity and sculptural restraint, the Braidense bookcase by Flexform introduces architectural rhythm to contemporary living spaces. A minimalist design gesture inspired by Milan’s historic Braidense Library, it features a reassuringly solid wood structure punctuated by asymmetrical metal display compartments—offering dynamic contrast and spatial depth.

Crafted in three modular elements, Braidense is free-standing and finished on both sides, allowing use as a wall-mounted composition or elegant room divider. The veneered wood is available in a curated selection of finishes, while the bent sheet metal inserts offer additional colour options—merging precision, versatility, and Flexform’s signature material sophistication.

MATERIALS & DETAILS

The structure is made from Canaletto walnut veneer with a raw-wood effect finish. Alternatively, it is available in ash veneer stained ebony, or in oak veneer with a raw-wood effect finish for a natural, refined look.

The internal compartments are crafted from metal with an epoxy powder-coat finish. The finishes available include burnished or matt titanium 710, or in a variety of colours: white 100, cream 205, pearl beige 130, umbra grey 720, sage green 730, pearl mouse grey 740, brown grey 805, bronze 820, matt black 900, matt white 160, matt sand 610, matt brick 620, matt sage green 630, matt terracotta 625, and matt forest green 635.

The base is metal, finished with the same epoxy powder-coat as the internal compartments, ensuring a cohesive design. The base rests on adjustable feet for flexibility and stability.
