Elongated, tapered, and held in poised tension, the D.859.1 table by Molteni&C translates Gio Ponti’s 1959 design for the Time & Life Building into a contemporary architectural centrepiece. The table’s monolithic top floats above angled, trapezoidal legs—evoking both mid-century audacity and modern structural clarity. Available in solid ash or black-stained ash, it captures Ponti’s obsession with proportion and visual lightness.

Bronze ferrules finish the legs with sculptural precision, anchoring a form that commands gallery-like interiors, formal dining rooms, or executive salons. At over 3.6 metres—and also available in smaller sizes—the D.859.1 is a definitive designer wood dining table.

This product is made to order in the Molteni&C factory in Italy especially for you, with a production time of 6 - 8 weeks, therefore please expect delivery within 8 - 10 weeks from the date of order.

Delivery options: United Kingdom

Standard Delivery (courier)

Standard Delivery is a courier delivery service suitable for smaller furniture items, and most lighting & accessory items. Once the items you've ordered are ready for dispatch from our warehouse, your order will be dispatched on a next day service.

This service does not include delivery into the property, assembly or unpacking. For larger items the driver may require assistance when unloading.

Platinum Delivery (white glove)

The delivery team will deliver your items to your room of choice and remove all the packaging for you. If required, all items will be assembled by the delivery team. Once the items have been received into our warehouse and are ready for delivery, our delivery team will be in touch to arrange delivery with you.

On-site installation is regrettably not available for lighting products or wall mounted goods such as, but not limited to shelving, mirrors, and pictures.

Click & Collect

Once your order has arrived in our warehouse, and the item(s) have been quality checked, we will contact you to let you know your order is ready for collection. Please remember to bring proof of purchase with you, such as your order confirmation email.
