The padded headboard rises with the same flared elegance as the original armchair, its surface marked by free-folding Pelle Frau® leather—stitched by hand to create a tailored interplay of line and depth.

Cylindrical feet in black-painted wood or leather-wrapped ash elevate the structure with architectural poise. The reverse is finished in jacquard fabric for discreet placement against a wall. A designer leather bed that pairs couture upholstery with spatial harmony, Archibald brings composed drama to refined interiors.

MATERIALS & DETAILS

Headboard constructed from Polimex® and birch plywood, offering strength and lightness. Padding is made of expanded polyurethane and polyester wadding for soft, supportive comfort.

Base features a padded structure in expanded polyurethane with fir slats along the sides and a poplar plywood footboard.

Feet are cylindrical aluminium with a Ø60mm diameter and floor protection caps in plastic. Finishes include black painted (standard) or optional leather-covered versions to match the bed’s upholstery.

Structural components include a central beam with an adjustable foot, corner plates, and additional elements in black-painted steel sheet for stability and support.

Upholstery available in Pelle Frau® ColorSphere® (SC) leather or Pelle Frau® Nest leather. The back of the headboard is finished in Poltrona Frau Jacquard fabric.

Aesthetic details include the Poltrona Frau logo embossed at the centre of the headboard’s reverse side.
