Sculpted with the aerodynamic elegance of a grand tourer, the Coupé bed by Poltrona Frau, designed by GamFratesi, evokes motion through stillness. The tapered frame, upholstered in Pelle Frau® leather, supports a softly contoured headboard with precise topstitching and a removable cushion in refined textile. Quietly architectural, its silhouette introduces spatial clarity and tailored luxury.

Constructed from spruce blockboard and poplar plywood with internal steel reinforcements, Coupé offers enduring structural integrity. The cushioned headboard is layered with polyurethane foam and polyester wadding, balancing comfort and proportion. Resting on slender gunmetal-finished metal feet, this bed grounds the room with composure and contemporary sophistication.

MATERIALS & DETAILS

Headboard constructed from solid beech, birch plywood, and hardboard infill, lightly padded with polyurethane foam. The headboard cushion is made of polyurethane foam and polyester wadding, attached with a Velcro strip at the top and secured by two plates at the bottom.

Base features sides in fir blockboard and a footboard in poplar plywood, both padded with a light layer of polyurethane foam.

Feet available in two options: cylindrical black-painted aluminium (Ø50 mm) or steel with a gunmetal grey finish. Protective components are included to safeguard flooring.

Structural elements include a midbeam with central foot, corner plates, and accessories in black-coated steel sheet for strength and stability.

Upholstery available in a refined leather/fabric combination: ColorSphere® (SC) with Fabric A, B, or C. Upholstery is fixed and not removable, except for the headboard cushion with fabric cover, which can be detached. The rear of the headboard is finished in Poltrona Frau Jacquard fabric.

This product is made to order in the Poltrona Frau factory in Italy especially for you, with a production time of 6 - 8 weeks, therefore please expect delivery within 8 - 10 weeks from the date of order.

These lead times are estimates, for your guidance and can be subject to change. A more accurate delivery estimate will be supplied to you by email within 14 days of your order being processed.

Delivery options: United Kingdom

Standard Delivery (courier)

Standard Delivery is a courier delivery service suitable for smaller furniture items, and most lighting & accessory items. Once the items you've ordered are ready for dispatch from our warehouse, your order will be dispatched on a next day service.

This service does not include delivery into the property, assembly or unpacking. For larger items the driver may require assistance when unloading.

Platinum Delivery (white glove)

The delivery team will deliver your items to your room of choice and remove all the packaging for you. If required, all items will be assembled by the delivery team. Once the items have been received into our warehouse and are ready for delivery, our delivery team will be in touch to arrange delivery with you.

On-site installation is regrettably not available for lighting products or wall mounted goods such as, but not limited to shelving, mirrors, and pictures.

Click & Collect

Once your order has arrived in our warehouse, and the item(s) have been quality checked, we will contact you to let you know your order is ready for collection. Please remember to bring proof of purchase with you, such as your order confirmation email.
