Compact, and compositionally striking, the Isidoro Ultime Notizie bar cabinet reinterprets the classic bar trunk with sculptural intent. Its vertical opening reveals a radial interior arranged for glassware, bottles, and accessories—framed by a refined silhouette that feels at once theatrical and architectural.

A limited-edition collaboration between Poltrona Frau and Fornasetti, the structure is wrapped inside and out in Pelle Frau® leather printed with the archival Ultime Notizie motif—a surrealist collage of butterflies and vintage newspaper clippings. Polished metal hardware, glass shelving, and leather-lined drawers complete a composition where Italian upholstery craft meets visual storytelling.

MATERIALS & DETAILS

The structure is made of poplar plywood panels, providing a solid and durable foundation.

The shelves, doors, and drawers are constructed from poplar plywood and MDF, veneered in Canaletto walnut (29), offering a sophisticated and refined appearance. The glass and bottle holders are enhanced with mini railings made of chrome-plated metal, adding a modern touch. The support is made of fabric-upholstered MDF, ensuring both comfort and structural integrity.

The padding is made from polyurethane foam for added comfort and support.

The feet feature plastic caps for fixed parts, while opening parts rest on plastic swivel wheels for easy mobility.

The internal and external covering is in Pelle Frau® leather. The white Pelle Frau® ColorSphere® Impact Less is decorated using a digital printing method similar to silkscreen printing, which enhances intricate hand-drawn motifs by Fornasetti, creating a slight and pleasant relief to the touch.

The accessories are made from chrome-plated metal, with stainless steel hinges for durability. A pair of click-to-close mechanisms with a combination ensures secure closure.

This product is made to order in the Poltrona Frau factory in Italy especially for you, with a production time of 6 - 8 weeks, therefore please expect delivery within 8 - 10 weeks from the date of order.

Delivery options: United Kingdom

Standard Delivery (courier)

Standard Delivery is a courier delivery service suitable for smaller furniture items, and most lighting & accessory items. Once the items you've ordered are ready for dispatch from our warehouse, your order will be dispatched on a next day service.

This service does not include delivery into the property, assembly or unpacking. For larger items the driver may require assistance when unloading.

Platinum Delivery (white glove)

The delivery team will deliver your items to your room of choice and remove all the packaging for you. If required, all items will be assembled by the delivery team. Once the items have been received into our warehouse and are ready for delivery, our delivery team will be in touch to arrange delivery with you.

On-site installation is regrettably not available for lighting products or wall mounted goods such as, but not limited to shelving, mirrors, and pictures.

Click & Collect

Once your order has arrived in our warehouse, and the item(s) have been quality checked, we will contact you to let you know your order is ready for collection. Please remember to bring proof of purchase with you, such as your order confirmation email.
