A sculptural statement of balance and proportion, the Jane table by Poltrona Frau, designed by Jean-Marie Massaud, redefines the dining experience with its asymmetrical marble top and monolithic base. The softly contoured triangular surface appears to float above its three ash-clad columns, creating an architectural centrepiece for expansive dining spaces.

Crafted in Italy, each cylindrical base conceals a solid beech core and is finished in moka or wengè-stained ash veneer. The top is offered in Calacatta Gold, Fior di Pesco, or Emperador marble, selected for their natural veining and polished depth. Jane exemplifies Poltrona Frau’s mastery of material contrast and spatial refinement.

MATERIALS & DETAILS

Top available in a refined selection of marbles, including Brilliant Calacatta and Semi-brilliant Fior di Pesco. Each surface is reinforced on the underside with technical mesh to enhance resistance to bending and impact. Depending on the marble type, the undertop is made from either white or black HPL. Surfaces are treated for durability—with either a transparent polyester finish for added resilience or a water-repellent solution to preserve the natural texture.

Structure supported by three architectural columns. Each column comprises a steel mounting plate for the top, a solid beech core encased in high-density MDF veneered in flamed ash, and a titanium-lacquered steel base plate. Brown felt pads are fitted to protect flooring.

Weight The total weight of the table is approximately 300 kg (columns: 100 kg; top: 200 kg), reflecting its robust, sculptural construction.
