Infusing traditional Poltrona Frau craftsmanship with innovative sartorial details, Japanese designer Kensaku Oshiro has created the Lepli collection of ottomans and stools as a celebration of sinuous minimalism. Classic stitching and soft folds serve to highlight the subtleties of the design, a nod to the artisanship of both furniture making and high fashion. Borrowing elements such as stitching and folding techniques, the Lepli collection takes inspiration from both worlds to produce pieces that are as meticulous as they are stylish.

The stool in the Lepli collection, in particular, stands out for its voluptuous curves inspired by the female form. Much like the slender belt on a dress accentuates the waist, a corresponding detail on the stool serves to underscore its elegantly defined “waist,” providing an extra layer of aesthetic appeal and adding to the piece’s overall allure.

MATERIALS & DETAILS

The Leplì ottomans are upholstered in either Pelle Frau® leather or fabric, always accented with a matching ornamental leather band. In the leather version, four folds emanate from the central button to define the pouf’s profile, whereas in the fabric version, stitching replaces the folds. Structurally, these ottomans are crafted from birch plywood and solid beech wood uprights, with kraft cardboard infill panels. Seats are padded with polyurethane foam and polyester wadding for comfort. The base is constructed from poplar plywood and features an MDF bottom with a scratch-resistant black finish, complemented by protective felt pads.

This product is made to order in the Poltrona Frau factory in Italy especially for you, with a production time of 6 - 8 weeks, therefore please expect delivery within 8 - 10 weeks from the date of order.

Delivery options: United Kingdom

Standard Delivery (courier)

Standard Delivery is a courier delivery service suitable for smaller furniture items, and most lighting & accessory items. Once the items you've ordered are ready for dispatch from our warehouse, your order will be dispatched on a next day service.

This service does not include delivery into the property, assembly or unpacking. For larger items the driver may require assistance when unloading.

Platinum Delivery (white glove)

The delivery team will deliver your items to your room of choice and remove all the packaging for you. If required, all items will be assembled by the delivery team. Once the items have been received into our warehouse and are ready for delivery, our delivery team will be in touch to arrange delivery with you.

On-site installation is regrettably not available for lighting products or wall mounted goods such as, but not limited to shelving, mirrors, and pictures.

Click & Collect

Once your order has arrived in our warehouse, and the item(s) have been quality checked, we will contact you to let you know your order is ready for collection. Please remember to bring proof of purchase with you, such as your order confirmation email.

About Kensaku Oshiro

Kensaku Oshiro was born in Okinawa, Japan, in 1977. Since 1999, after receiving a Master degree in Industrial Design at “Scuola Politecnica di Design” in Milan, he began working with several practices until 2004. He suddenly joined the design team of Lissoni Associati studio, with whom he worked until mid-2012. In the second half of 2012 he moved to London to work with BarberOsgerby.
