Composed with sweeping curves and mid-century poise, the Letizia chair by Poltrona Frau introduces sculptural intimacy to reading corners, dressing rooms, and lounge-style interiors. Originally designed by Gastone Rinaldi in 1954, its low, fluid silhouette balances retro gesture with contemporary restraint.

The internal frame is formed from steel and enveloped in moulded polyurethane foam to maintain its softened shape. Slender, tapered legs in painted or chromed metal elevate the form visually and physically. Reissued in Italy by Poltrona Frau, Letizia honours the original DU55P design while translating its architectural lightness and ergonomic craft into a modern design vocabulary.

Upholstery available in Pelle Frau® leather or fabric, with options including ColorSphere® (SC), Nest, Soul, Velvety, and Fabrics A, B, and C. Upholstery is removable in the fabric version only; leather upholstery is fixed.

Padding made from moulded polyurethane foam, providing long-lasting comfort and structure.

Suspension features elastic belts integrated into a durable steel frame for optimal support.

Feet conical steel with protective nylon caps. Offered in three refined finishes: – Ash veneered in a teak stain with antique-finish brass caps
– Black textured coating with a wrinkled effect and black caps
– Polished chrome with matching chrome caps

Structure constructed from steel for exceptional strength and stability.
