The Lola Darling Bed, a creation of Poltrona Frau and designed by Roberto Lazzeroni, is a masterpiece that blends contemporary design with traditional craftsmanship. Lazzeroni reinterprets the classic capitonné technique, introducing a modern touch to its rich texture. The bed’s standout feature is its exceptional leather workmanship, which replaces conventional buttons with a refined, convex diamond stitching, enhancing its aesthetic charm.

At its heart, the bed captivates with its soft, inviting contours and an impressively large headboard, a showcase of artisan skill and technical prowess. The headboard, gently curved at the sides, is adorned with tone-on-tone Pelle Frau® leather piping, adding sophistication. This bed, with its prominent headboard and intricate detailing, seamlessly combines classic Italian style with modern elegance, establishing itself as a luxurious centerpiece in any bedroom.

MATERIALS & DETAILS

This bed features a headboard constructed from solid beech, birch plywood, MDF, and hardboard panels, with moulded lateral parts made from moulded polyurethane foam. The headboard is padded with polyurethane foam and polyester wadding, while the base, slightly padded with polyurethane foam, has a fir blockboard structure and a poplar plywood footboard, complete with plastic protective caps. Other structural elements include a midbeam with foot, corner plates, and metal accessories, all made from black coated steel sheet. The bed is upholstered in a wide selection of leathers and stands on cylindrical aluminium feet available in black coated or leather finishes matching the bed.

The rear of the headboard is covered in Poltrona Frau Jacquard fabric, with an option for matching leather upon request.

This product is made to order in the Poltrona Frau factory in Italy especially for you, with a production time of 6 - 8 weeks, therefore please expect delivery within 8 - 10 weeks from the date of order.

Delivery options: United Kingdom

Standard Delivery (courier)

Standard Delivery is a courier delivery service suitable for smaller furniture items, and most lighting & accessory items. Once the items you've ordered are ready for dispatch from our warehouse, your order will be dispatched on a next day service.

This service does not include delivery into the property, assembly or unpacking. For larger items the driver may require assistance when unloading.

Platinum Delivery (white glove)

The delivery team will deliver your items to your room of choice and remove all the packaging for you. If required, all items will be assembled by the delivery team. Once the items have been received into our warehouse and are ready for delivery, our delivery team will be in touch to arrange delivery with you.

On-site installation is regrettably not available for lighting products or wall mounted goods such as, but not limited to shelving, mirrors, and pictures.

Click & Collect

Once your order has arrived in our warehouse, and the item(s) have been quality checked, we will contact you to let you know your order is ready for collection. Please remember to bring proof of purchase with you, such as your order confirmation email.
