With its softened silhouette and architectural poise, the Montera bar stool by Poltrona Frau introduces sculptural warmth to kitchen islands, high dining tables, and contemporary hospitality interiors. Designed by Roberto Lazzeroni, the curved backrest is accented by a subtle stitched arc—an abstract signature of the Montera collection’s fluid identity.

The seat is upholstered in Pelle Frau® leather or a two-tone combination with Cuoio Saddle Extra, creating contrast between textures. Raw-cut edges and fine saddle-stitching reflect refined artisanal construction. Solid ash wood legs—finished in wengè or moka—are reinforced with black nylon spacers for structural stability.

MATERIALS & DETAILS

Upholstery in Pelle Frau® leather or a leather and Saddle Extra leather combination, with clean-cut edges and refined stitching. Contrasting thread enhances the two-tone version, while the full leather option features tone-on-tone stitching. The rear of the backrest reveals a decorative motif that conceals the zip fastening, finished with the hot-stamped Poltrona Frau logo.

Shell crafted from rigid moulded polyurethane and padded with polyurethane foam for comfort and structure.

Legs in solid ash wood, available in wengè or moka stain. Black nylon spacers elevate the detailing, while the footrest is protected by a gunmetal grey metal sheet. Plastic caps ensure floor protection.
