Balancing sculptural geometry with refined materiality, the Othello dining table by Poltrona Frau reinterprets mid-century Italian design with quiet authority. Designed by Roberto Lazzeroni, its ash legs—stained in moka or wenge—form a striking architectural base, defined by sharp edges and a triangular profile that anchors the composition.

The softly contoured tabletop, offered in Fior di Pesco or Calacatta Gold marble, features diamond-edged detailing that enhances the stone’s natural veining and luminous surface. Reinforced with a technical mesh and HPL laminate for stability, Othello merges artisanal craftsmanship with structural clarity—an Italian designer dining table shaped for timeless interiors.

MATERIALS & DETAILS

The top is available in round or rectangular shapes, featuring brilliant edges characterised by a diamond cut. The table top is made from luxurious marble, with the following options:
– Brilliant Calacatta marble
– Semi-brilliant Calacatta marble
– Brilliant (veined) Arabescato Venato marble
– Semi-brilliant (veined) Arabescato Venato marble
– Brilliant Fior di Pesco marble
– Semi-brilliant Fior di Pesco marble
The marble top is 2 cm thick, providing a substantial and elegant surface.

The marble top underside is reinforced with a technical mesh, ensuring enhanced resistance to bending, breakage, and impact for long-lasting durability.

The undertop is made from white HPL (High Pressure Laminate) when the top is in Calacatta or Arabescato Venato marbles, or black when the top is in Fior di Pesco marble, adding structural strength and contrast.

The base is made of iron, coated in solid ash with a triangular cross-section for a modern, sleek appearance. The base includes adjustable plastic caps, which can be adjusted with the provided key to ensure stability and floor protection.

Base finishes are available in:
– Ash with a wenge stain (32)
– Ash with a moka stain (61)

This product is made to order in the Poltrona Frau factory in Italy especially for you, with a production time of 6 - 8 weeks, therefore please expect delivery within 8 - 10 weeks from the date of order.

Standard Delivery (courier)

Standard Delivery is a courier delivery service suitable for smaller furniture items, and most lighting & accessory items. Once the items you've ordered are ready for dispatch from our warehouse, your order will be dispatched on a next day service.

This service does not include delivery into the property, assembly or unpacking. For larger items the driver may require assistance when unloading.

Platinum Delivery (white glove)

The delivery team will deliver your items to your room of choice and remove all the packaging for you. If required, all items will be assembled by the delivery team. Once the items have been received into our warehouse and are ready for delivery, our delivery team will be in touch to arrange delivery with you.

On-site installation is regrettably not available for lighting products or wall mounted goods such as, but not limited to shelving, mirrors, and pictures.

Once your order has arrived in our warehouse, and the item(s) have been quality checked, we will contact you to let you know your order is ready for collection. Please remember to bring proof of purchase with you, such as your order confirmation email.
