Defined by architectural clarity and visual balance, the Times bed by Poltrona Frau introduces a refined silhouette to modern sleeping spaces. Designed by Spalvieri & Del Ciotto, its horizontal headboard is intersected by a singular vertical band, creating a linear rhythm that evokes quiet composure. Slightly tapered legs lift the form, reinforcing its sense of poised minimalism.

Crafted in Italy, this designer bed features a solid ashwood frame with a moka stain and a timber core engineered for durability. Upholstered in Pelle Frau® leather, the bed reflects the brand’s legacy of precision craftsmanship—merging sculptural restraint with material warmth for contemporary interiors.

MATERIALS & DETAILS

Upholstery available in Pelle Frau® ColorSphere® (SC) or Nest leather. The headboard cushion is upholstered inmmatching leather, with the rear finished in Poltrona Frau Jacquard fabric. Matching rear upholstery is available on request. Only the cushion cover is removable for ease of maintenance.

Headboard crafted from solid ash wood in a moka stain, with a distinctive circular upper section and rectangular lower crossbeam. The cushion is padded with polyurethane foam and polyester wadding and attaches seamlessly with concealed zips.

Base composed of fir blockboard sides and a poplar plywood footboard, all lightly padded with polyurethane foam for softness and structure.

Feet made of solid ash wood in a moka finish, fitted with transparent protective caps to preserve flooring.

Slatted base Vespero model supplied, featuring steam-curved and pressed beech plywood slats with plastic suspension joints to enhance airflow and mattress performance.

This product is made to order in the Poltrona Frau factory in Italy especially for you, with a production time of 6 - 8 weeks, therefore please expect delivery within 8 - 10 weeks from the date of order.

These lead times are estimates, for your guidance and can be subject to change. A more accurate delivery estimate will be supplied to you by email within 14 days of your order being processed.

Delivery options: United Kingdom

Standard Delivery (courier)

Standard Delivery is a courier delivery service suitable for smaller furniture items, and most lighting & accessory items. Once the items you've ordered are ready for dispatch from our warehouse, your order will be dispatched on a next day service.

This service does not include delivery into the property, assembly or unpacking. For larger items the driver may require assistance when unloading.

Platinum Delivery (white glove)

The delivery team will deliver your items to your room of choice and remove all the packaging for you. If required, all items will be assembled by the delivery team. Once the items have been received into our warehouse and are ready for delivery, our delivery team will be in touch to arrange delivery with you.

On-site installation is regrettably not available for lighting products or wall mounted goods such as, but not limited to shelving, mirrors, and pictures.

Click & Collect

Once your order has arrived in our warehouse, and the item(s) have been quality checked, we will contact you to let you know your order is ready for collection. Please remember to bring proof of purchase with you, such as your order confirmation email.
