With its pivoting silhouette and radial symmetry, the Lullaby Due bed by Poltrona Frau introduces sculptural rotation to principal suites and modernist sleeping areas. Designed in homage to 1960s futurism, the wing-shaped headboard anchors the piece visually while allowing full 360° swivel movement on a concealed base.

The internal frame is formed from steel and moulded polyurethane foam, retaining the curved profile with structural clarity. Upholstered in Poltrona Frau fabric or Pelle Frau® leather, the headboard is defined by precise visible stitching. Crafted in Italy, Lullaby Due merges bold geometry with mechanical fluency to reimagine the contemporary bed.

MATERIALS & DETAILS

Upholstery available in Pelle Frau® leather, with options including ColorSphere® (SC), Heritage, and Nest. Upholstery is fixed and not removable.

Headboard features a distinctive winged profile with visible stitching, crafted around a steel structure and padded with moulded polyurethane foam for sculptural comfort.

Base constructed from poplar plywood with polyurethane foam padding. The headrest is mounted on a swivel mechanism, allowing 360° rotation in both directions.

Bedstead includes a multilayer wood frame, padded with polyurethane foam and upholstered in Poltrona Frau fabric for a refined internal finish.

Mattress round and 220 cm in diameter, included with the bed. Features steel box springs, wool padding on the winter side, and cotton padding on the summer side. Bed and mattress are supplied separately for ease of handling and delivery.

Structure includes a midbeam with foot, corner plates, and metal accessories in black-coated steel sheet, ensuring robust support and longevity.

This product is made to order in the Poltrona Frau factory in Italy especially for you, with a production time of 6 - 8 weeks, therefore please expect delivery within 8 - 10 weeks from the date of order.

Delivery options: United Kingdom

Standard Delivery (courier)

Standard Delivery is a courier delivery service suitable for smaller furniture items, and most lighting & accessory items. Once the items you've ordered are ready for dispatch from our warehouse, your order will be dispatched on a next day service.

This service does not include delivery into the property, assembly or unpacking. For larger items the driver may require assistance when unloading.

Platinum Delivery (white glove)

The delivery team will deliver your items to your room of choice and remove all the packaging for you. If required, all items will be assembled by the delivery team. Once the items have been received into our warehouse and are ready for delivery, our delivery team will be in touch to arrange delivery with you.

On-site installation is regrettably not available for lighting products or wall mounted goods such as, but not limited to shelving, mirrors, and pictures.

Once your order has arrived in our warehouse, and the item(s) have been quality checked, we will contact you to let you know your order is ready for collection. Please remember to bring proof of purchase with you, such as your order confirmation email.

Luigi Massoni

Born in Milan in 1930; worked in Cermenate. He began his career in 1954. He has been president and head of architecture and industrial design for A&D since 1972. His clients include companies such as Poltrona Frau, since 1967; Fratelli Guzzini, since 1964; Nazareno Gabrielli, since 1969; Gallotti & Radice, since 1969. He has been editor and designer for Forme magazine since 1962.
