About Christophe Pillet
Born in Montargis, France in 1959, Christophe Pillet lives and works in Paris. After graduating from the elite French National School of Fine Arts of Nice in 1985, he completed his studies at the Domus Academy in Milan, where he worked with Michele De Lucchi, Carlotta de Bevilacqua and Martine Bedin. He returned to Paris where he practiced alongside Philippe Starck for several years before opening his own studio. Named ‘Designer of the Year’ at the Paris furniture show in 1994, he has received many international awards, including the Red Dot Design Award, the Wallpaper Design Award and the Prix d’Excellence.
